EHX Monitor quickstart
Use this guide to run your first practical monitoring workflow with EHX Monitor.
What EHX Monitor gives you
- Baseline observability stack guidance (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Alertmanager)
- Monitoring templates and module snippets for Kubernetes and Web3-adjacent workloads
- Alert and runbook references for common operator incidents
Prerequisites
- Access to a Kubernetes or Compose environment for testing
- EHX account for chat/generate-assisted bundle creation
- Access to these product routes:
Quickstart flow
- Open EHX Monitor.
- Start with Generate monitoring stack bundle from the Monitor page.
- Review generated files in chat/generate output (Prometheus, Grafana, alerts).
- Export the bundle and apply it to your test environment.
- Validate baseline signals:
- Target scrape status
- Dashboard panels render data
- Alertmanager route receives test alert
Common first checks
- No metrics in Grafana: check scrape targets and service discovery labels.
- Alert not firing: verify rule file is loaded and evaluation interval is active.
- Too much noise: tighten thresholds and labels before enabling paging channels.
Free vs Team+
- Free: baseline monitoring stack and basic checks.
- Team+: advanced Web3 monitoring templates, anomaly-oriented presets, and richer operational coverage.
